One cant blame these people that do this type of thing. You have to realize that that city had those awful statues for years. It's all going to be better now. Amazing at what Americans have let happen. I vote let's start back the public hangings.

It's time for the Vieux Carré to split from NO and have it's own police force.
Anytime I'm in NO, I am constantly scanning the environment (front, back and sides) for any unusual or suspect characters and modify my route accordingly. I also carry.
This is back to the bad driver threads. Most people are not aware of their surroundings (not looking in the rear view and side view mirrors).
Cowards like this will always find easy marks and are looking for opportunity.

But, but, but....crime is down in Nola. Errybody says so and look at the statistics.
It's a shithole that I won't be visiting again ,unless I absolutely have to go for business, and I'll try to avoid that to the best of my ability.

To be fair, there are just way more cameras now than ever. This shite has always been happening in every damn city. Same thing happened to me in the quarter years ago, minus the robbery. Probably looked bad on camera
