NOLA residents also vote for property tax increases that they'll never have to pay. It's what happens when you have a majority full of takers.
That's the problem. The democrats don't realize that once they drive away all of the money due to outrageous property taxes there is going to be nothing left to take.

Remember when dumb Cedric tried to tell Rep. Steve King that New Orleans didn't have a crime problem? Who the frick was the trying to kid?

Thing is I'm being serious. The criminal justice center up there is broken, from the people who investigate crimes, to the district attorneys office, to the judges, to the public defenders office......
It's one single area that needs a complete overhaul and an area that is citizens could see the most immediate impact if it was ran right.

Nope.

"Tim’s husband is en route to New Orleans from Boston. Our ... staff are profoundly shocked and filled with concern for their colleagues."
If the gay's take on the thugs, this could get extremely interesting. FWIW, some of those gay guys are straight bad asses having grown up getting picked on and in fights every other day. Remember the Eddie Murphy bit where the guy is heckling the gay guys and gets his arse kicked in front of all his friends?

The fact that my post on page one about dragging them down I-10 has 230+ likes gives me hope for humanity. The downvoters are Gravy, his twin female nutcases, SWB, and StrongSafety.

Last year was close to 10 million visitors. They were expecting more this year. Despite what the local baws say on here, I don't think there have been enough national and international news of the crime to hurt things too much (YET).
2018 is a huge year for the city. The thug homies better not fck this up for us.
If you talk to people in the industry or go down and see for yourself, the city is still crowded with tourist and the hotels/restaurants are doing well overall.
There have been some restaurants closing and more will continue to close, but I think it's more due to over-saturation of the market than crime.

Can't wait to see Mitch and the black caucus and LaToya Cantrell and the city Council respond to this.

A few weeks ago I was informed by someone in a NOLA thread that white people are never victims, if they are ever a victim it's because they were doing something they shouldn't be
Posted on 6/26/17 at 2:45 pm to ihometiger
This type of attack would never happen in Boston. I wonder why in the world this guy would travel to New Orleans
