The Hub used to be Plantation Trace. I lived there for two years, the '00-01 and '01-02 school years. It was almost all students back then and parties almost every weekend.

My first ever LSU experience included an overnight stay here around 1999. I drive by it now and just shake my head at what I see.

it was outdated back then, but not dangerous. Just students. It’s wild how quickly housing around campus has gone to shite.

Most likely, that uniform was triggering to the young man. Probably thought it meant automatic death for him.
