Broken Gas Pump Handles....

Pisses me off to no end pulling up to a gas pump only to get out of my truck, pay with my card, and commence to pump and find out that some jackass broke off the automatic pumping mechanism. And...to make matters worse, have a pump that is low on fuel and it takes frickin' 10 minutes to fill up!
First world problems, I know, but frick this. I'm too lazy to sit there and hold the handle.

Not really. Sounds like you go to trashy gas stations.

No cap on my truck. It's a newer model.

I have a car made in the last five years, so I don't have a gas cap to jam in there.
I usually just jam the handle with used hypodermic needles.

Ill have to ask the guy who takes care of my cars if he has ever run into this problem

I’m pretty sure this is because the latches have been removed by the business, not because someone broke them.

Just beat your wife, it will calm you down.

Most cars have the gas cap attached with the plastic wire. I was going to patent a device that attaches to the plastic wire on your gas cap that will hold the gas pump lever, but I'm too lazy.

What life-altering thing were you going to do for that 4 minutes if the latch thingy did work?

Post a funny comment about checking someone's knuckles on the OT.
