I am curious what their childhood was like together, with Eric being a genius ball buster and Bret being in his brother’s shadow. I do think the Weinstein Bros are probably the smartest members of the IDW.

thought it was a little odd that he holds up Andrew Yang as a "center left" candidate, but maybe I don't know enough about Yang...??

I mean, Yang said he thinks the government sucks at everything and that money would be safer in the hands of the individual that can invest it as they see fit, which makes a libertarian like myself perk up their ears.

Eric is incredibly intelligent obviously, but he doesn't do a great job of explaining things to the layman sometimes.

Eric last time on the podcast was talking past me when he started talking about him theorizing there’s a 12th dimension. I’m really into that stuff, and I had no idea what he was talking about. I don’t fathom how there can be anything beyond the 10th dimension, and the 6th, 8th, and 9th dimensions are confusing enough as it is.
EDIT: Correction, he was apparently talking about the 14th Dimension. I just don’t follow that.

Yang's primary position is the institution of UBI which he uses a lot of data and evidence to support. People may disagree with him but it's not like its this completely unreasonable, unresearched position.

It sounds nice but with less government more poor people will turn to crime IMO. I feel we have lived by a fine line of check and balances and at some point it will tip. I also think we have more crazy people per capita than any other nation. We lead in gheys and trans. We have the most karens. We have the most thugs.

I listened to the podcast before this thread was started and I enjoyed it.
On Rogan - I think he does a great job and I enjoy every episode.
On the youtube documentary someone posted - holy freak show. I'm actually more depressed about the future after having watched that.

I've watched the first 2 hours of it. This guy has made very fascinating observations. His comments on how this movement is "leaderless" is the most intriguing.

It really is. His discussion about what could happen if Chauvin is found not guilty was a little frightening. Weinstein basically thinks we could be heading towards a Civil War and his rationale is pretty solid.
