Thanks for the heads up on this 
I’m a third of the way in. It’s clear to me Joe didn’t read between the lines before Bret explained it to him that, yes, academia is the primary contributor to the lunacy we’re currently witnessing. Sure, it may not be the STEM professors who are most culpable, but they’ve nonetheless committed sins of omission by letting the radical social theorists (i.e. cultural Marxists) take over their institutions.
It’s also become increasingly evident, whether you listen to Weinstein, Peterson, Saad, Harris, etc., that the postmodernists they rebuke have become the anti-science ideologues the left used to love to hate. But they can’t call them on their bullshite because they’re the ones calling the shots now and to disagree with the concept of a gender spectrum, for example, may just have them removed from their positions.
To the everyday friendly liberal who constantly accused the right of over blowing the Marxist stuff: you made your bed, now sleep in it.

Eric last time on the podcast was talking past me when he started talking about him theorizing there’s a 12th dimension. I’m really into that stuff, and I had no idea what he was talking about. I don’t fathom how there can be anything beyond the 10th dimension, and the 6th, 8th, and 9th dimensions are confusing enough as it is.
EDIT: Correction, he was apparently talking about the 14th Dimension. I just don’t follow that.
the 6th dimension in one theory isn't the same as the 6th in another. Eric's is about measurements in his dimensional analysis - not the "all possibilities of all events" that you see in that video where they discuss what life could look like up to 10 dimensions. To me that video about the 10th dimension isn't really very sound.

I think people just hear UBI and think welfare and automatically lump him in with the far left.
Definitely this - UBI has a ton of positive aspects for both conservatives and liberal leaning people.
