He apologized because he risked that paycheck. Since you are slower.

This is such a great example of media/narrative bias.

Case 1: Drew Brees shares his well-articulated point of view, effectively supporting our troops and expressing what the flag symbolizes to him and ending with a unity comment, and the media explodes by casting him negatively and saying his comments were controversial.

Case 2: During the peak of violent protests and rioting, Michael Thomas tweets “Strength in numbers. The National Guard can’t be everywhere.”, crickets from the media.

Brees made the right decision to apologize. When you have a family you want to avoid making the people you love targets. Besides... he has learned a valuable lesson here, you must appear as others and keep your true thoughts in your head. No point in making enemies out of friends.

So are blacks and white guilters thinking they have to protect those who can't protect themselves less able to control their anger towards anyone that disagrees with them?

Friends aren't friends if a difference in opinion changes everything they have seen about you and know about you as a person over the years. It should trigger that person to realize that maybe people who think differently from them on political matters aren't monsters or racists.

I have had numerous black co-workers be surprised if at some point it comes out that I am conservative (usually longer term co-workers where some social interaction outside of work happens not coming up during work). I usually say if that changes your opinion of me over what you have learned over the years working together that's on you not me. Usually things stay the same.

I think he didn't speak enough the first time and eleborate. It was in poor judgement, I'm hoping he can make amends with the city and many other players in the NFL and his team.

Did you hear his whole statement? What does he need to make amends for? Will Michael Thomas make amends for tweeting "Strength in numbers...National Guard can't be everywhere"?

Can't he also have his own views while acknowledging the black concerns?

he absolutely can.

but that’s doesn’t change the fact he kneeled literally and figuratively.

The mob mentality made Brees fold like a cheap tent. He posted a wall of text on his Instagram apologizing allover himself. Pitiful

Saving for when I see you post "Who DAT!" next season.
