is this apples to apples?

is a woman breastfeeding her child purposely exposing herself to you and your family?

What about breastfeeding makes it acceptable to expose oneself? It's an easy answer...

its the act

if a woman purposely goes to you and your family and exposes her breasts, she can be arrested due to the intention of the act

if a woman is breastfeeding her child quietly without drawing attention to herself, there is no intention

this isn't a hard concept

It's been answered already. I understand that you may have some learning deficiencies and it's real nice that the people at the daycare allowed you to use the computer, but please put some effort into your shitty arguments. Thanks.

Because the whole reason a woman is breastfeeding is so she can feed her baby who cannot feed himself.

Because it's a necessary part of life, correct? It's something that needs to be done. I completely understand.

So...

1. Must she be uncovered to do so?
2. If she doesn't have to be uncovered because it's a natural part of life, then why is it unacceptable for a man to pull out his penis and urinate in a public place?

Even that's questionable. For example exposing breasts in public in NY is not a crime. You could go topless all day long and not get arrested.

I nurse mine and hate having to do it in public. I bring bottles in case he gets hungry, but sometimes I forget or become engorged and have to nurse. I try to do it discreetly and no one has ever looked at me funny. Not even a server at a restaurant.

It's so unacceptable in society that it occurs probably over 1000x more often than the situation you're melting about.

That is an important qualification that you decided to include. And it gets to the heart of this entire thread.

So who determines this?

I'm about the least Camp Mommy person ever, but I recently got my first godchild and holy hell. I don't know how parents do it.

The other day, mama breastfed him (AT HOME ON THE SOFA, FOR ALL YOU WEIRDOS!) before we went to lunch. We decided to stop at Perkins Rowe after lunch since he was asleep. By the time you get the baby out of the seat thing and pop the trunk and open the stroller and strap him in and shite, it's like 30 minutes later All that - and 5 minutes into the shopping trip, he shite on himself and it traveled down to his ankles and up to his neck. We had to strip him down to bring him home (5 minutes away) and the LOOKS people gave at a the sight of a naked 7 week old.. like we were filming a porno or something.

People are weird.

Where are you people eating?

I worked in a restaurant that marketed itself as a "family" establishment for 4 years and never once witnessed such a thing.

I avoid restaurants that market to families nowadays since I tend to Uber and get a bit tipsy when I dine out, but I never see people openly/uncovered breastfeeding in restaurants. I know it does happen (I saw it back when I was a teen), but is this really a regular enough thing to claim the above?

My wife managed a restaurant near LSU for several years and it happens. You'd be surprised at the things people do in a restaurant in public. She's also seen a kid eating with fork and knife, then turn to mom and get a boob in the mouth.

Because no one's life depends on a man urinating in public. Babies need to eat to survive.

If the basis for your argument is that feeding a baby is a natural and necessary part of biology.

Tell me how urinating does not fit that criteria.

Why would you ask that one be done in private but not the other? Modesty? Many in here have already decided that to ask for such modesty is born of a snowflake mentality.
