Nope, just explaining that McCain's comment not only was absurd, but likely violated Senate rules on decorum. Rand and his father have consistently opposed NATO altogether specifically because they believe only Congress can declare war. The collective defense provision in NATO requires us to go to war to defend a member state. Montenegro is in the heart of the former Yugoslavia and the Balkans, where ethnic and sectarian tensions still exist and could foment into conflict.

Didn't vote for him in 2016. I am voting for him in 2020. I'm one of the few Americans whose primary issue is foreign policy. The Bush neocons who I despised in 2007 were behind Hillary in 2016 and are behind Biden in 2020. Had Tulsi Gabbard been the nominee, I'd likely be voting for her.

Do I need to go on? That search took me all of five minutes. There are plenty more posts like that. I'm not saying everyone posted those things. The vast majority actually said decent things, but don't act like some weren't cheering his death.

Well, we're kind if the same. I didn't vote for President but did all the way down ballot. No straight ticket here.
But you know McCain wasn't a total war monger. I know you know it. Not against it in policy where warranted but it most certainly wasn't the only driving force. Withdrawal was always a platform.
