Each welfare recipient should have a cut off date and not receive benefits after that date. Much like unemployment benefits. Also maybe another plan would be to take away more and more after each cut off date. Hell give them a reason to get off government assistance. I always like hearing kids say my momma worked 4 jobs. Well the reason is if she had stayed at one full time job she would have had to pay for medical insurance through her company plan. Momma got free medicare issued thru the government and got a lot more benefits by manipulating the system.

I knew two women back in the day that could have written a book on making the most or getting the most out of government assistance. They told me some of their secrets that was one I remembered. You are right though doesn't apply too all.

Unless I've missed it the last couple of hours, isn't it hypocritical that any CNN, MSNBC or FOX news crews have not shown up to do any live all day broadcasting?

My favorite is the people that hang their hand out the window of a vehicle holding a cigarette. I don't want that cigarette smell in my car but frick my black shoot lungs. Lol

No color specific titles on wall street journal site, CNN, msnbc that I saw. I didn't look at fox. I am sure it will be mentioned on fox though.

They almost always have a handicap tag too. Hmm, so smoking leads to disability, they are "addicted," now they can't smoke inside so smoking bans should be against the American with Disabilities Act.

I wish I could agree with you. The people on welfare are 2 and 3 generations into this. They don't know anything else. The women won't be able or even know how to support themselves. The men sure as hell aren't going to step up to the plate. My predictions are any noticeable cutbacks in entitlements will cause major uprisings. Cities will burn.

Make them do volunteer hours or work part time if they are able bodied to receive welfare. Give doctors incentives not to declare someone disabled, sort of like work comp doctors do.

One is a black kid just out of the academy. The other is a mid-30s, white veteran K9 cop.
