Florida is a "at will" state.

She can be fired for any reason

I'm sorry, but how can these hospitals be understaffed and under-equipped when it costs your mortgage, car, and family jewels to stay one night for minor surgery?

Because the doctors have to pay for their nice cars and houses somehow.

Yeah maybe they didn't like the nurse calling about them and then having the CDC possibly breathing down their necks?

Like lawyers, there's too many of you anyway. Less ridiculous $54 an hour aspirin in a little paper cup administers means lower health care costs.

Look at how much insurance actually pays. It's shocking that things aren't worse than they are.

This Frieden joker sounds like a real cracker jack doc. Who died and left him in charge?

All my nurse friends in town are PISSED at the lack of training they have been given... including this week. Ostrich syndrome. It's like the up and ups are more afraid of teaching incorrectly than teaching at all.

Yeah... but it was the airline who decided to talk - Not doctors/CDC. Pretty messed up.

wait up...we don't know what insurance pays. They negotiate the amount. Both sides are making fortunes.

Not necessarily, there are still restrictions, but those may not be applicable to this scenario.

ETA: it's also HIPAA, two A's not two P's
