Is it tacit endorsement of Assange and wikileaks? By the outgoing POTUS?
I think so. I don't have a strong opinion either way at this point.
It does raise some interesting questions in light of all the "Red Scare" going on.

I mean I'm all for equal right and what not but this dude is a traitor to the Military. He took an oath. What's next? We can not really know the extent of the link.
Edward Snowden is a whole different issue. He will definitely be black bagged and never seen again if he comes forward.

I don't know the details of this stuff. Just the broad strokes. I probably should have followed it closer. Anyway, didn't some pretty nefarious stuff done by our military or allegedly so at least get released by this guy? Some people might argue that it was someone's responsibility to blow the whistle on this stuff. You can get into some pretty murky ethical waters here.
