Time to quit acting like a mouthpiece for a failed police force. Time to quit sucking from the company tit and take a step back briefly.

This shite is happening every weekend - you soft pussies need to start controlling it.

Until there are more cops on the street (and the numbers continue to quickly trend downward) and the DA/judges actually punish people for their actions, you won't see any changes. Baton Rouge's entire system from the police on the street to the judges sentencing criminals is holding on by a thread that gets weaker by the day.

Apparently there’s tons of people coming from out of state soon to participate in the coming weeks.

Cool, like Cruising the Coast. Best place to tailgate and set up chairs? List of any food vendors yet?

The general public does not realize the lack of officers on street at given times. I was told that 1st district, NBR, has probably 5 officers on street per night in that area.

LSU police has more officers on campus than 2nd district has officers on road

Eta: for those who have no clue where 1st district is....the most violent area in city. 5-7 officers a night. Crazy

If the money isn’t there who’s going to take a job at BRPD? The starting pay is something around $20/hr.

Assuming that the City has budgeted for fully staffed operations. Where does the excess budget go that isn’t paying for officers on the street?

The Baton Rouge Chief responded by saying he plans on asking the City Council for $300,000 to create another social media position within the department.

"This time I'll make sure the MFer can at least spell, though." the Chief told us by phone from Churchill's.

Yeah, LSUPD is the best staffed agency in the parish. They always have a ton of people on duty at any given time. All the other agencies not so much.

It makes sense, remember when the rogue cop tried to set up MP with a DWI ambush leaving Churchills?

It’s already happened

Exactly and it wasn't all that long ago: Crash after Garth Brooks concert in May

Then there's this from 2020: 2020 Drag racing crash on Lobdell

When a family member or good friend of the right politician is affected by it, we'll all be amazed at how quickly this shite starts to get cleaned up.
