Adam Allerton, 42, is charged with multiple counts of sexual assault. Booking records for the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison confirm his arrest. The CT Post reports he was released from jail after posting a $100,000 bond.

Why would they provide the director’s cell number in the article?

I bet he regrets decreasing her playing time now

Dude is/was the director of Extreme Performance who is putting on the soccer camp in BSL next week. Camp's still on, my son can't wait.

Wonder if this causes them to lose players? Mandeville and Fire are bit too far to drive a few times a week.

How would BRSC be to blame for any of this? He had never been caught, so his background check would be clean. If anyone is to blame, it’s the Connecticut police and the girl’s parents...they both have known for 4 yrs what allegedly took place, and yet, told nobody. They knew he was coaching kids in BR. They could have easily phoned BRSC with an anonymous tip or something

Some may laugh at this, but there's nothing I would put past some parents when it comes to their kids and sports.

The Advocate broke this story.

Mugshot

quote:

An arrest warrant released Wednesday reveals graphic details about the alleged sexual relationship between Allerton, 42, and one of the girls on his soccer team. Allerton was coaching at a private school and for other teams in Connecticut from 2008 to 2013. He moved to Baton Rouge the following year and — until Tuesday afternoon when reports of the allegations surfaced — he was youth academy director for the Baton Rouge Soccer Club.

quote:

He was hired as youth academy director with the Baton Rouge Soccer Club in summer 2014 and was most recently responsible for two competitive youth teams.

quote:

In addition to his role with the Baton Rouge Soccer Club, Allerton coached at the Dunham School in Baton Rouge as recently as last fall. And a biography that has been removed from the Baton Rouge Soccer Club website said that before moving to Louisiana he served as assistant coach for the University of Bridgeport women's soccer team and coached the team to the second round of the NCAA Division II tournament in 2013.

I'd be hesitant about the camp going forward. It will not be the same. At lease your kid isn't an overnight camper.

And as for brsc being hurt by this... They are doing plenty of that on their own.

He is over night this time. We got a big break on price last year to be a day camper, but this year it was only $100. It'll be his first stay over camp ever...and we live 5 blocks away, so we figured for that price WTH, good experience.

IDK anything about BRSC, but we play a team or two from their club every year.

I doubt it's easy to run a club, lord knows ours is a mess sometimes.

ETA: Results are hard to come by, is the lack of _ what you're implying they're not getting right now? Style of play looks good good every time we play them (we as a club). City kids, BRSC and Fire, always look different than suburb, Blackhawk and Mandeville, kids...and the style is somewhat dependent on who you have. That's a random observation, I wish my son was any 4 of those clubs.
