Las Vegas is not the only ‘Sin City’ in America. A new study reveals that Baton Rouge is the 14th most sinful city in America, according to personal finance website WalletHub.

New Orleans ranked two spots behind the Capital City, coming in as the 16th most sinful.

WalletHub compared 180 U.S. cities on seven sinful behaviors including anger and hatred, jealousy, excesses and vices, greed, lust, vanity and laziness.

A total of 39 key indicators of evil deeds led to the final results, which considered violent crimes per capita to excessive drinking and adult entertainment establishments per capita.

From beer-loving Milwaukee to hedonistic New Orleans, the U.S. is filled with people behaving illicitly. No place is innocent. We all have demons.

But at some point, we all have to pay for our vices. Gambling addiction, for instance, leads to over $100 billion in losses for U.S. consumers every year. In 2018, identity theft and fraud took a toll of $14.7 billion. And every year, smoking burns an over $300 billion hole in Uncle Sam’s wallet.

Luckily for the saints among us, all American sins are not created, or distributed, equally. In order to identify the darkest corners of America, WalletHub compared more than 180 U.S. cities across 39 key indicators of evil deeds. Our data set ranges from violent crimes per capita to excessive drinking to adult entertainment establishments per capita. Read on to see the baddest of the bad cities, the full ranking, and additional insight from a panel of experts.

In addition, to help spread awareness about HIV/AIDS, WalletHub assembled an interesting infographic exploring the impact of the disease as well as what folks are doing to fight back.

True. But it cost a ton a ton in medical cost from the government. It’s so rare that a person middle class and up actually smoke anymore. It’s a lower class vice and a stupid one and they are on the taxpayer tit later in life when they are choking to death.

Interesting...When i think of sinful i think of places like Vegas, fun places to party

BR is a black hole of violence, drugs, ghettos, etc, not very sinful

If you combined St. Louis city with St. Louis county it wouldn't be close to number one on this list. Also, outside of New York and LA I can't imagine a more vain city than Dallas. And I love Dallas.

dallas is only second to Orange County in terms of people putting on some facade trying to depict some baller life when actually they can barely pay the rent on their one bedroom apartment.
