And no...not buying an "outdoor television". I am gonna buy a cheap indoor and let it burn out 4 years or so later.
Which company do you have experience with where I can buy the TV and theyll come out to install?

PJs generally need very low ambient light, but if you are only going to use it at night with a properly specced screen you may be OK but you probably want to go with one with high light output. They do fine for the occasional football game or "drive-in" movie night on a portable screen but I wouldn't do a PJ installation outdoors without quite a bit of planning regarding the model and screen.

The money you'd have to spend on a projector with the lumens to handle day-time ambient light levels would change that consideration. Then there's the matter of cooling. Projectors pull in a lot of outside air to cool the bulb module and drivers, outside air loaded with pollen, bugs, dirt, etc. will mean you'll need to clean it often and keep it covered when not in use.

What material are you mounting into? I recently mounted mine into brick myself, and it was much easier than I had anticipated.
