BR Baws: The old Pennington? house on Acadian was torn down this week

At least I thought I heard this was a Pennington house. The one just past TJ Ribs on Acadian on the right. There was always a security guard stationed outside the home.
It’s crazy how this town keeps changing.

Said it was old and was unoccupied for years and the family decided to tear it down.

The roof had caved in from neglect. Years ago, they bought a used law enforcement type vehicle and parked it next to the house to give the illusion of a full time security guard.

I remember passing it on my way to BRHS every day. One day, some kid decided to use the driveway to make a U-turn. That cop had him on the ground with the quickness.

It’s close to Bawell St, so it wouldn’t surprise me if the Section 8 crept in.
