Bought the washer and dryer with the seven year warranty. My Maytag washer only lasted four years and the control board died. Going on four years now with the speed queens.

Just because you can "stuff" a large item in a washing machine that doesn't mean it fits. Maybe that not what happened but fabrics need to be able to move around in the basket to truly get clean.

You can raise the lid and it still washes and doesn't stop. It also fills up with water.
So you can’t even rinse the detergent out of the cup after you pour it in. fricking junk.

As soon as my washer gives me the first sign of trouble, I'll be ordering a SQ to replace it.

Bought one a year ago. The store had a drive shaft from on as part of the display. Prob weighed 40#. Great machine
It's the only readily available consumer washing machine that still uses steel gears and shafts in the transmission instead of cheap plastic shite.
You can drag any other POS washing machine across the room with one hand. You are going to have to do work to move a Speed Queen a few feet.

Have had a Speed Queen for 7 years now.
Has worked flawlessly
Only issue I have is the edges of the lid is starting to rust

SQ washer going on 7 or 8 years. Wife is constantly washing the fog blankets no problems at all and is as quiet as the day we got it. Use pods and no issues.
Dryer however, is a cheapo basic Whirlpool I believe. Tons of cheap parts and easy as hell to fix. Can change the belt and tensioner, drum rollers and front felt pad in less than 20 minutes with basic tools.

Speed queen washer for the win.
When my dryer craps out the new one will be speed queen.
High quality appliance like they used to be.

What's the Speed Queen version of a fridge with an ice maker. I'm tired of these gizmo fridges that break with a mean look.

Here’s to hoping your grandchildren need a hand-me-down washer.
Because they’re gonna have one.

Best washer and dryer we ever owned. We got the model with zero electronics as yall said the 7-year warranty and I believe the motor has like a 25 year warranty. They operate flawlessly and we never tried the king size comforter as we thought it wouldn't fit well thanks to y'all we may try it this weekend.

I bought my wife a Speed Queen washer/dryer set about 7-8 years ago when her Maytag washer finally gave up the ghost. Well worth it.

I know a girl everyone called speed queen. It had nothing to do with washing.

My wife wants to get Speed Queen washer and dryer but I somehow bought the only Samsung’s that last 7+ years

I wish I had speed queen. I had to replace our W/D during Covid and the SQ was backordered for six months
