Still my favorite meme of the performance:
But I did have an open mind and listened to it again with Snoop Dogg watching and commenting on it. The performance warmed on me a bit. Snoop was eating it up. Snoop liked the symbolism of the costumes and performances.
But I’ll still say it was bad and was mix of song choices and a bad venue for songs he chose. But those are his songs and you have to respect that.
People would have better received the performance had he rapped about football 12 minutes, but he would have to have written a new album to accomplish that.
