You guys really fear a police chief? A guy who works for you, a tax-paying citizen?
If you write a letter like that, you have the balls to sign it. And then you welcome any attempt by the Chief to use his perceived power to come after you. I would love for that to happen; take his arse down with a federal investigation.

Nope, exact same one.
Baton Rouge is my city. I’ve lived there since college and law school. I damn sure ain’t scared of a police chief who makes a mockery of his position and our city with a spectacle like this.
If I witness him acting like that, like the person who purportedly wrote that letter, I gladly sign it. Because the City and what it represents is bigger than any one person.
Why not sign it? You take the hard right over the easy left. It’s always easier to not get involved, but maybe I’m different. I sign it.

You sign it bc you don’t work for BRPD.
If you did then you submit it anonymous like this. Not only would the chief come after you but assuming he’s fired you’re still marked by his cronies that still work there after he’s gone. You may not be fired but you’ll be logging evidence in a connex for the rest of your career.

Am personal friends with Dabadie, and would have preferred he stay over Paul.
Watson is 100% posturing to run against Broome, it's not a secret. He has to create tension to have a platform to run against her.
