At least I'm not there this time. Planned a fun weekend in June and they issued a boil advisory for the majority of the weekend.

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans east bank is again under a boil water advisory. The city announced the precautionary boil water advisory Wednesday evening, two months after an advisory in July lasted nearly 48 hours. The water board plant experienced a power surge and lost pressure, according to a spokesman, which caused the plant to drop below 15 psi. The advisory is in effect until further notice. The water board hasn't given a timeline for when the advisory may be lifted. The Sewerage & Water board recommends that residents boil water for at least one minute before use. If you have any questions about boil water advisory, you can call 504-529-2837 Read or Share this story: LINK
