I rode by the High School and the KC Hall where they held the Festivities. Yes I live on the outskirts of that shithole town. I counted 10 marked State police, 11 Wash. Parish Sheriff Dept. vehicles not counting City police and an assortment of unmarked cars. Also a Helicopter circling overhead all afternoon. Had my scanner on until it all broke up. Actually it was all pretty low key. Certainly don't expect that kind of coverage for my going away party.
