AGAIN I have a message for ALL people... stop breaking the fricking law and shite like this won’t happen.

People are going to break the law. People will continue to make dumb choices that bring them into contact with law enforcement officers. You have no recourse, outside of knowing the law and your rights, on the side of the road. You have recourse in court, if the charges even stick and the case even goes to court. You can not exercise your right to your day in court if you are dead.

Prob justified by law. Just not great policing

The “great policing” was all of the attempts to keep the situation from escalating and then the attempts to subdue the suspect with a taser.

Dumb frick.

I get what you are trying to say, but it all depends on what said criminal has done in the past. The example I will give is the Alton Sterling case in BR. The dude already had two strikes against him. And LA has a three strikes and you are out law, which means Sterling KNEW when the cops showed up he was in deep shite. He knew at that moment that if he got arrested he would be sent to jail FOR LIFE. When the cops showed up they were not sure what they were dealing with. Sterling resisted and kept fighting. Tased multiple times and refused to comply. The cops saw a gun and reacted Sterling ended up dead. Bottom line is that there was a REASON the cops were called in the first place..... he flashed a gun at someone who was to close to him that he didn’t like. A lot of people want to forget about WHY the cops were called. They just automatically blame the cops.

think it's fair to question the use of lethal force over him stealing their taser. The victim certainly was in the wrong and escalated the entire situation himself, but was lethal force really necessary there? Were the officers' lives in immediate danger? There's certainly an argument that they didn't know his intentions after stealing the tazer and running, but again is that justification for lethal force?

Only if you’re a complete moron.

Dude even pointed the taser at the cop when he was running away

What do you think would happen if you attacked a cop with a crowbar? I’ll answer for you. They would try to tase you, and if that doesn’t work they would shoot you.

Spoiler alert! Crowbars aren’t lethal either.

Inability Of 2 officers to subdue a drunk man that was just sleeping & relinquishing a taser to him was not great policing.

Running him down knowing it would likely end up with your weapon having to have been drawn is iffy at best.

A taser? Isn’t the whole point of a taser is it’s non life threatening?

Two cops couldn’t subdue a drunk dude without killing him. That’s pretty pathetic

So? It’s his own fault.

The way the handles the situation until the suspect flew off the handle was fine.

So they’re supposed to do what? Let criminals just get away with shite now? Your comically ignorant takes are reaching new lows.
