I mean, padding will reduce some impact but not everything.

It's likely carpet over concrete, so not sure a fall and blow to the head would really be that much less depending on how he might have fallen.

The family was desperately trying to suppress the details of this from getting out. You don't do that if he fell, hit his head and died in his sleep. My theory is he hired a hooker, nothing wrong with that by the way, then he was robbed and murdered.

Idk, but I’m an ER doc and his injuries as described are not consistent with a ground level fall, in my experience. Maybe one of the resident OT baller neurosurgeons can chime in.
