You need to set a price range.

A C300 is $50,000 while an S550 is $110,000.

Dang it, my bad, he's right.

Forget the M5 and the CTS-V.

Team Enclave FTW.

yea...that's why this is stupid. You can get an Audi r8 for $160,000 or a Lexus ES300 for $35,000. Also, maintenance, sport vs smooth, gas miles, etc etc etc etc and the kid included 6 brands that all have low-end and high-end cars too with 4 doors

I'm driving the Audi R8 right now, it's a little bumpy but has a lot of giddy up.

I’ve got a C300 and it’s been great but there are clearly other cars that I’d consider at each price point.

C43 AMG
Audi S6
Audi R8

If I were to go up the price ladder

0-60 is really good, but doesn't the HP come on all at once?

Can't nail it in the corners, right?

Why set a price range? Is the highest priced one always your favorite?

Let say this--non compact non mid sized.

BMW and Mercedes are in different stratospheres as the rest of those.

If you only care about performance, M5 is the best sedan you can buy. If you want a more well rounded car with better tech, Mercedes E 43 AMG

All those other car companies can’t touch these

if lots of money is not an object then Mercedes

If you care about how much you spend on maint and repairs then Mercedes and BMW quickly go to the bottom of the list

If you want dependability then stay with the Orient- Lexus Infiniti or Acura

Audi is not on my list
Best bang for the buck is Infiniti

the top of the line Lexus is hard to beat

How well do you drive?

Just asking because I noticed (on my recent trip through 4-5 states and back) that the following drivers were generally bad at driving:
1.Infiniti
2.Lexus
3.Audi

The Infiniti and Mercedes drivers sucked at parking too. Like, can one of those drivers manage to park in just 1 space?

So if you suck at driving, go Infiniti; you'll fit in perfectly.

If you have any regard for money do not buy a German car, if you dont mind pissing away piles of cash on maintanance go for it.

I will never own another one.

I had an M3 BMW 2004 model. I enjoyed the power behind the pedal but it had its maintenance issues. It leaked in the windshield, leaked oil, and I replaced a air conditioning part.

Mine is about to hot 4 years and roll off warranty. I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that I’m concerned about breaks starting. I haven’t had issues with it so far but I don’t consider that predictive of the future.

Anyone that rides with me is shocked it’s approching 4 years old. It looks close to new on the inside and the exterior is still really good sans a scratch or two.
