No. It's a lazy thing. It shows who is too lazy to stop and use the vacuums or simply remove the tape after the wash
I have a monthly pass and go through all the time. I never go back on the street with the tape.

I'm proud of my dirty-assed cars. With little kids, I see zero purpose in anything but making sure paint doesn't get destroyed (did that via tree sap on my last trade-in; they didn't care).

I guess my dirty shite is my own status symbol. But at least it isn't something I proactively do.
