hen I worked at Canes, I used to tell people who walked up to the drive-thru window to come into the store. It's dangerous as hell to just have a guy standing in the drive-thru lane. I almost got hit multiple times just sweeping it.

Well I would expect a place called "canes" to be more acceptable to blind people.

Hahahaha we drove up to a McDonald's in BR one night that had a "24/7" sign. And we sat by the intercom waiting to order for about 2 minutes before the most ignorant person you could possibly imagine comes over the intercom with "WE CLOSED..... Crazy white boys"
munchies ain't no joke. Desperate times call for desperate measures... Otherwise I would've said frick McDonald's

I too have been denied service when walking through a drive thru. They cited safety. Made sense to me.

This is a stupid lawsuit.

No one wants to start seeing fee shifting. You think defendants get screwed now. Start adding thousands of hours of attorney's fees onto verdicts.

And I believe some states do allow for some costs and fees for frivolous suits

I guess he couldn't see the sign that says no walk ups. Maybe they can put one in Braille like drive up ATMs.

I think it's easy to see that McDonald's is just the facade for these "frick disabled people" rules and regulations. The real power to be seen behind the curtain is BIG AUTO. They ONLY make vehicles for the OCULAR-ABLED! Ever stop to think about why that is? We can all see BIG AUTO's evil vision. BIG AUTO is working to starve all blind people by denying them late night fast food. Open your eyes sheeple!

I personally know of a blind man from the New Orleans area who saved a stranger's life recently while on vacation with his family. The local CBS, NBC, and FOX affiliates have so far not replied to requests to cover the story while at the same time running the story about this poor man who can't get his late night snack at MD's and making it go international. This is what the press wants to feed this "everybody's a victim-everybody needs to sue somebody" nation. Sad.
