Guy I graduated high school with hung himself using a tree in N.O. City Park not too many years after graduating.
Smart and athletic. Bit of a nerd but everyone liked him. Never would have guessed he would do something like that.

Did they find the ladder or step stool she jumped from or did she climb the tree? One of those has to exist for suicide. Forensics will be looking for tree bark on the body.

One of the gals in my grad school class was renting a house in fort worth. Went home after class, set her stuff down, got a drink and looked out the kitchen window....to see her neighbor swinging from a rope around his neck hanging from a tree about 8 feet away.

Law enforcement sources say Fortune was living with Anderson and they quarreled on the Saturday before her body was found. Detectives said Anderson is a person of interest in the Fortune death investigation.

White people in MS try to avoid Jackson at all costs, especially neighborhoods. Nobody is going into a Jackson neighborhood alone to lynch someone. A group of whites would stand out like a sore thumb.
