Well, that's not totally incorrect, but I also don't think that's what he's saying at all. The way Mississippi did this is by failing kids if they can't read.
Much of that "can't read" piece is due to a culture that encourages children to test low in an effort to qualify for more government benefits.
I think he just doesn't trust the state of Mississippi in general.

You’re the one deflecting from your take that numbers are cooked/inflated/fabricated, that this is some vast governmental conspiracy to *checks posts* prop up the states that are spending less per student, and to make the red states look better than the blue states.
It really is incredible to watch

Well since I always directly address the arguments, & don't come off like a clueless moron just stooping to ad hominem attacks, I'd say I'm "something".

But the biggest factor is LA and MS decided that every student was going to learn to read, no excuses.
The states whose schools are in freefall are the ones saying math and reading are white supremacist constructs.
You are correct. For some reason the extremists on both sides don't like the results. Progressives hate the results because they show that their public schools are serving their agenda rather than their students. Racists hate the results because they show that with the right methodology, blacks can learn.
AND to be clear, this is about reading at grade level. It isn't some Wakanda fantasy of racial supremacy. These results simply mean that people can learn if taught correctly.

And you have deluded yourself into believing you aren’t racist. You are making it clear that you think they are completely incapable of learning.
I'd give you credit for doing it intentionally, but in order for that to happen I'd have to assume you are being so obtuse intentionally.
You have yet to even address my key question: what changed since during the 1960 's that now require remedial hand holding in basic reading and math skills that parents of children as young as pre k historically taught or assisted the schools teaching their sons and daughters with?

well considering the N in NAEP stands for the word "National"....
Louisiana, for example, doesn't do the NEAP, and it is not clear that the LEAP is the same thing or truly equivalent. Just because they have similar acronyms doesn't mean they're the same.

I'm so sick of Black this, Black that. How is everyone ever going to get along with the continued isolation of races. Let's merge together, people!
