Beat me to it. Send LSP and BRPD to handle them, again.

What does the law state in a open carry state? Can the gun be loaded while carrying it or clip has to be out?

What is the point in carrying an unloaded gun?

Good, they deserve it. I really couldn't give two cramps if a bunch of them got assaulted for no reason they are members of one of the two corrupt parties that are destroying our nation. I just really don't care

Ohio is a traditional open-carry state. The open-carry of firearms by those who legally possess the firearm is a legal activity in Ohio with or without a license. One need not have a concealed handgun license (CHL, CCW) to transport an unloaded handgun in a motor vehicle but it must be secured/contained and located in the vehicle requiring an exit of said vehicle to access it. Ammunition and magazines must be in a separate compartment or holding device.

Can't carry while loaded

It's true they are welcome to open carry, but when the intent of the open carry is to intimidate, it becomes borderline terrorism. On second thought, it's absolutely terrorism. Terrorism - The use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims.

me too, if you are doing it because you need protection.

If you are doing it as a political statement, for the shock factor, or to intimidate. Then I think you are a douche. Therefore, I think 100% of open carry carriers are douches.

They are so pathetic!

At this point the public's view has to be almost paternalistic.

Black Panther: "We are going to stand with our guns against the White Oppressors!"

Normal People: *Pinching their cheeks* "You go ahead, Mr. Panther. You protest and show them who is boss! Oh my goodness aren't you just ferocious! Such a mean panther! Does the panther want a sandwich and some milk?"

How does this work with the secret service?

Are you allowed to open carry around a candidate?

Could the convention be considered a polling place since they take a vote from delegates?

Are you serious? The Secret Service isn't going to allow those clowns to get anywhere near the convention. If they try, it's going to be brief and painful.

Well that's my question. How can they claim they will do this with the USSS. People are talking about the 2nd Amendment but I'm pretty sure USSS will not allow anyone non law enforcement near an event with a gun when the President is there so I would guess that applies to candidates as well.

I think we've gone off the deep end when one party deploys their most radical foot soldiers to their opponents convention just to terrorize the attendees and goat the police into responding.

I fully support their 1st as well as their 2nd Amendment rights. This country is so great that assholes like the BP's can say what they want and protect themselves with a firearm.
