I'm not sure why you wouldn't.

I just find it much more worrisome when the most powerful man in our country and our supposedly unbiased national media always side against the officer
What you're saying may be all well and correct, it's just an entirely different discussion.

It's very much part of this discussion and topic. There are people who, on both sides, rush to believe one side or the other. Pointing out one while ignoring the other is disingenuous.

Unless I missed it, you've yet to give your thoughts on the story. You've only given your thoughts on 3 entities who haven't weighed in on this incident.

That is what I told my friend. I told him black people are at a higher risk to be shot by a cop then any other race. Everybody need to do what the cop says and be respectful wether you are right or wrong and nothing will happen most of the time. The case in miami where the black guy was trying to help autistic guy in the middle of the street. When the cops came the black guy laid on the ground with his hands up and they shot him anyway. That was fricked up and luckily he wasn't killed. I know he sued the shite out of ten and rightfully so. The cops doing the shootings in most cases I would say are more scared in these situations and don't know how to handle it.

I've made it clear, more than once, that it's wrong to rush to judgment period.

Black people are are at a higher risk to be shot by another black person than any other race....where's the outrage? Where's the protest? I dont see anyone kneeing down for that

i totally agree with the comment that he wasn't tased until he brought his hand back to his body and anyone that has dealt with law enforcement knows that is an ABSOLUTE No-No

Only in America. Or maybe a third world shithole. Police here are so over the top. The dude was wrong in that they have to make sure that it's safe before they start a discussion on why they stopped them but there was no need to tase.

No he was complying.

It happened in February. Use your deductive reasoning skills.

Exactly. He's gonna get paid. The officer lied on his police report saying that he thought a man - with his arms outstretched continuously - was reaching for a weapon.

Ok. He did bring his arm back in. Still gonna get paid.

The entire first world.

There's a difference between protesting crimes committed by your government versus crimes committed by criminals.

So the man reaching to the center of his body was invisible to you
If he had just sat down, answered the goddamn questions he would be gone and on his way.
If he hadn't pointed to his self, and put his hands where no one could see them, this does not happen.
The officer is clean as can be on this one.
