The SEC Championship being in ATL has many very good reasons, but "white people love Atlanta" is not among them.

Atlanta is the most popular destination for SEC graduates. I know for sure it's in the top 3 for UGA, Auburn, Bama, and USC. It's in the top 5 for most of the rest including LSU. Atlanta is actually going the direction of Nashville, just with less country and more corporate tech jobs.

All the Black people are in North Nashville. There used to be some in East Nashville but gentrification pushed them out.

Glad you enjoyed yourself. People who have something to gain from racism (mainly the clergy and politicians) like to perpetuate racism.

However, I realized long ago that it is not the color of someone’s skin that matters…it is their socioeconomic class.

Solid review. One thing about Nashville that is highly under appreciated is that it is a people watching mecca. There are literally thousands of people packed into a five city blocks on a Tuesday afternoon.

You’ll find that most of us from the south grew up with black people and don’t judge people by skin color. We judge peopling how they behave and their character.

Now, that said, we’ll make fun of black people when they do something stupid like have a Rock Da Boat Party and end up shooting it out on the dock. But black people have no issue talking shite about us white folks too. We’re all tribal by nature and make fun of each other.

We’re all the same….just trying to do the best for ourselves and family and not get involved with stupid shite.

That's a fact because it's the biggest city in the South, with jobs and whatnot.

Also, here's a black crowes song (ATL band covering a Macon GA artist).
