Not only has the guy learned multiple languages, but extremely hard to learn languages on top of it.

Without even clicking the link, I knew it was Moses.
I've been binging his videos for a while, and actually looked into his language learning system. My only gripe about him though, is that with learning so many languages, he doesn't have full command of most them. His French is VERY basic. But alas, it is entertaining to watch him converse in peoples' mother tongues. I'd love to be able to do that.

That dude could make a mint working in translation services. Very impressive.
Fact- some peoples brains are prone to language learning when others aren't. It isn't necessarily a function of intelligence. Just like some people have an affinity for music and others (like me) can barely turn on a radio.

To be fair, there probably aren't many black folks in China or where ever that is. It startled them.

Only if we have a very narrow definition of intelligence, as in you have a high intelligence only if you have a high IQ. Given that languages, musical ability, verbal ability, even athletic ability are all brain functions, IQ measures a very small subset of brain functions. There has been somewhat of a large backlash towards IQ precisely because of the high variance, as in a high IQ is not necessarily predicative of anything other than skill on a particular test.

Absolutely valid point. I was using "intelligence" in the currently accepted narrow term. I had a sister in law who couldn't operate a coke machine (seriously, I had to help her get a coke out one time) yet she spoke four languages fluently and another three conversationally. That was to what I was referring. Maybe "common sense" would have been the better term.
