Stop tasting people.

Maybe they have a reason to be bitter? You didn't give any kind of detail of who you are dealing with or why/what they are bitter about.

There's one or more in every office.. They usually stick together, misery loves company. But it is at what level the bitterness exists.
I worked with one that was bad. She had a reputation as the company gossip not just the office. I have disliked people in my life but this woman... I hate. She was a jealous insecure biatch. She would attack good hard working people to the point they would leave the company.

I have bitter people I have to deal with on a daily basis. I’m going to eventually go over the line with telling them to grow the frick up.
It’s absolutely enraging. It’s like talking to a black hole where any sort of positivity gets sucked out. Surrounded by an echo chamber of people who never actually grew up is exhausting. They don’t have the mental maturity to view things appropriately.
The Wheel of Change. Learn it. Use it. Quit bitching.

These people sound jaded. I completely understand. You can only fake a smile for so long. You can only show up to work for so long full of energy and positivity and constantly be shite on and more put on your shoulders, giving 100% and asked to give 110%. How many years can you keep the positivity up when every day the company beats you down and squeezes the positivity right out of you?

I agree with you 100%.
If they're making you money you will fire them or if they are average and spreading their bitterness? I can understand the latter, but if the bitter motherfricker is a rain maker eerybody else gonna have to grow some thicker hide...

They refuse to acknowledge they’ve made any mistakes in life that got them to where they don’t want and then they just want to blame everyone else.
I don’t fricking care. Is it your fault? Maybe, maybe not. Can you or should you change it? Maybe.
Make a fricking conscious effort to have a healthy attitude though. Or be kind to the people around you and shut the frick up.
I will not tolerate being around folks who are constantly bitter. Everyone has days but if youre constantly bitching and whining stay the hell away. Every job sucks, every boss is an idiot and every rank and file employee is the only person capable of making the organization survive. I get it. It is far easier to simply not get caught up in the negative than it is to get out of being caught up in it.

I would work for that company about 6 hours. Depending on when starting time was. I would not make it beyond lunch the first day. That is on the individual. I would live under a bridge or commit acts of violence to feed and house myself before I allowed a job to beat me down in the manner described above.

I need more specific examples. What do you do that forces you to be around bitter people every day?

Your OP is bleeding bitter.
Probably your fault or at least something you had some control over.
Quit whining, bitch!

100%. Dennis Prager describes the moral obligation to be happy:
quote:
We should regard bad moods as we do offensive body odor. Just as we shower each day so as not to inflict our body odors on others, so we should monitor our bad moods so as not to inflict them on others. We shower partly for ourselves and partly out of obligation to others. The same should hold true vis a vis moods; and just as we avoid those who do not do something about their body odor we should avoid whenever possible those who do nothing about their bad moods.
The flip side of the damage unhappy people do when they subject others to their unhappiness is the good that people do when they are, or at least act, happy. Just think of how much more you want to help people when you are in particularly happy mood and you realize how much more good the happy are likely to do.

Why haven’t you already told said person/ people to F off? You looking for affirmation, pity, or to suck the positivity out of everyone?
