Seems better that the ladies should have double checked that their meals were being paid for or not. "Hey guy, thanks for inviting us and taking care of all this".

I'd actually like to see more of this. I'm too much of a chicken to do it, but I wish we'd all boycott tipping until it's dead and buried.

The reason why most places have a mandatory tip for parties of 6 or more.
