I put him up there with Mr. Rogers.

He also "walked the walk" in his spiritual life.

You never heard of any scandal associated with him.

He didn't even drink.

Graham preached the gospel to more people in person than anyone in the history of Christianity.

Some of the vile, hate filled stuff that I am seeing about Billy Graham's passing on social really prove (again) Matthew 10:22 to be correct.

"You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved."

Not trying to start anything. But everyone has a vice. Typically you find out more about people after they are gone than when they are alive.

Nah. Could you imagine what the world would be like if Paul had had access to global television and the internet?

Just a few points ( for you and the 6 idiots who upvoted you):

--BG was not a "televangelist"
--You are a troll and not a good one
--If hell is based on behavior then a) please tell us what BG did to deserve hell, and b) we are all going there.
--please grace (pardon the expression) us with your omniscient soteriology that damns BG

I'm not sure why I wasted time on that, but there it is.

Maybe, but if you believe half of the stuff that people say about the dead that they never said while they were alive, you're an idiot.

Well yes, we are all sinners so no one is perfect.

But he didn't drink. He loved his wife and was faithful to her for the 60 something years they were married. He spent his entire life devoted to his mission of preaching the word of God to others. He counseled presidents(was good friends with many of them), a Queen(also good friends with), was very good friends with Martin Luther King(hell he bailed MLK out of jail).

You can't say he wasn't a good man. Was he perfect, well of course not for no one is. But he was a good man who influenced many, many others.

Why is this remotely funny? Swaggart couldn't hold BG's jockstrap. Not even remotely in the same genre, class, etc. The closest affiliation to BG in BR would be The Chapel On The Campus and Campus Crusade.

I know you're trolling, but it's dumb.
