I'm not against centralized enforcement of community norms. I think it's useless/ineffective for a country of 350m people who don't get along to try and enforce moral/ethical/faith-based standards, but I don't have a problem with a state electing to do so.

I imagine I'd agree on the practical limitations/issues from the plan, but I don't have a problem with the concept. In fact, I have no issue with a state/locality banning pornographers/distributors from operating in the state/city (albeit with the same caveat about how feasible it is).

In other states sometimes they also throw in some stuff like cut spending or lower taxes.

Not in LA. We just get big daddy government.

I mean if we have to have big government at least give us functional roads or something.
