We know there are a ton of misconceptions out there about MC's that give us a bad reputation. That's why most of us are happy to take any opportunity to dispel those misconceptions.
Except you're in here telling us about all the little innocuous things you can do that might get your arse kicked. That's pretty much exactly what the bad reputation is all about.

While that was a very entertaining show and me and my wife enjoyed it. At the same time it has created huge problems. For starters the show spawned a wave of guys going out buying their first motorcycle and forming their own clubs. For a while there clubs were popping up right and left. At every COC meeting there would be at least five or six new clubs coming before the board asking for consideration for membership. These new pop-up clubs caused a lot of problems because there were full of guys wanting to live out some real-life SoA fantasy while knowing nothing about real MC life. A prime example of this is a club called the Iron Order. They've been nothing but trouble.

You're able to speak generally about MC clubs that you/better known MC clubs don't like? Wouldn't that cause internal issues?

If peej comes in here and tells you there is absolutely nothing to worry about, I'd start making funeral arrangements.

Were any of them wearing shiny white sneakers?

We have an HA chapter here and I saw them on the road a few weeks ago. They all had on Puma's and shell toe Adidas. Thought that was pretty funny, always figured they wore boots.

I was trying to give the OP some advice on how to smooth things over with a group he said he'd already had a bad encounter with. That's it.

Are there bikers out there who would kick the ever loving shite out of you if you called them "brother" or touched their bike? Sure. There are assholes in every walk of life and thee are bikers who like nothing more than kicking the shite out of some scared "civilian".

Are we all like that? No. In fact the vast majority of us, even 1%ers have no desire to mess with anyone or have any trouble with anyone. Yes, there is a code we live by. But like I've said more than once in here (which you'd know if you actually took time to fricking read what I post instead of jumping to conclusions and misrepresenting everything I've said) odds are if you were to have some sort of protocol breach with a biker at worst they'll politely correct you and move on.

Outlaw Bikers are sensitive. They are bullies looking for a fight and looking to get offended. Do yourself a favor and stay out of their "safe space".

This has not been my experience at all. Been in many bars with angels, outlaws and dd's and have never seen shite happen without someone asking for it. And as for the language issue it is pretty damn annoying when more than one language is being spoken within earshot.

It's common knowledge that Hells Angels love 2 things: weapons and candy. A great idea for a peace offering would be a chocolate knife. To show further respect for their time, and to keep your interruption to a minimum, you'll probably want to run up and give it to the leader real fast.

Biker figs is the correct term. The absolutely lowest rung on the social ladder.

Before we can ascertain ladder rung positioning, we need to know their collective ACT scores.

Seem legit. What's the beef, brother?

They're disrespectful posers who go out looking to start trouble with other clubs every chance they get.

Who is the most peaceful of all the clubs? I would start shite with them bc they are a bunch of pussies who probably ride hondas

ETA: Do any of the clubs ride goldwings? If I were in a club, no way would i ride some Japanese trash. Sure, it is quiet, will last forever, and is a comfortable ride but you won't catch me on that trash. No way. No how

Hmmm. You would think over the numerous decades that MC clubs have existed, that a 'newer' MC club could come up with a fresh idea.

No. That's what they want. They go out and start shite with other clubs then go run and hide behind the cops. That's the big problem with them. They're a cop club who wants to act like a three piece outlaw club. There's been several instances in numerous states where they started shite with other clubs then used their cop friends to get away with everything from assault to outright murder.

They did have a chapter here in B'ham. Think it was called "Deepwoods" or something like that. We'd see them out every now and then but we've not seen them in probably close to a year. Someone shut their chapter down I think.

I know, but his offense? Speaking English.

Well here's the thing.. the fact that it seems pretty common to refer to non-bikers as "civilians" says to me that there is some ingrained distaste for "regular" people.

"Protocol breach"

And I did fricking read what you posted. Here is a summary:

quote:

That's a great way to get your arse kicked.
(If you ask a biker where to score some drugs)
quote:

I suggest the best way to gain an understanding of what you're asking is for you to go find some bikers in your area and ask them this question face to face. Let us know what they say.
(If you ask a biker why they're so sensitive)
quote:

When people do not follow the rules, that's when things go sideways.
(Implying that fights break out when people don't follow arbitrary rules)
quote:

A lot of things can slide. But wearing a cut of a club you're not s member of, that's not one of them.
(Implying you might get your arse kicked if you wear the wrong "cut")

Also, calling them a "gang" might get your arse kicked, even though it is an accurate term judging by your descriptions of their behavior. And touching a "cut" might get your arse kicked. The list goes on and on, and literally NONE of these incidents would induce 99% of us "civilians" to even consider starting a fight. And the 1% that might? We "civilians" call them "thugs".

CMA (Christian Motorcycle Association)

They're one of the biggest clubs in the world

Sure, there's plenty of clubs who don't have an American bike requirement.
