Had both, both are money pits. Bigger status is a fat retirement account, and slush fund accounts.

nice boat that has to be docked

Nothing to do with a docked boat but my co-workers son has three boats. Fishing boat, party barge and air boat. She said he's constantly complaining he has no money. I wonder why....

You get airplane problems and boat problems rolled into one

I couldn’t imagine living in central Florida without having a pool. It’s too hot not to have one.

I dont know anything about financing a pool installation

I know a guy who paid for his pool with a credit card. He ended up getting divorced and had to sell the house. He's still paying for the pool 6 or 7 years later.

We had one growing up and I swear my dad spent more time cussing at that pool than swimming in it because something was always wrong with it - pump, liner, chemicals. Just seemed like a huge headache and money pit for most of its life.

That's why I pay someone else to deal with that shite

I have both. It costs an arm and a leg to maintain a boat and a slip at the marina. Boat wins over in ground pool.

I talked to a baw the other day that owed $42k on a 10 year old bass boat.

I’ll go with pool.

This is the OT. We all have in-ground pools and at least one Midnight Express.

If your "boat" has a pool, that's a big deal.

Short of that, this discussion is a moot point for the OT.
