Would just be another thug to live there from what I read in the paper about "Big Lee".
Grown arse man harassing his geriatric neighbor like some school yard bully. And the incident that led to the shooting was just one in a long line of incidents according to neighbors where Lee was the instigator.

The old man probably wasn’t as innocent as you’re making him out to be, after all he did murder Big Lee for spaying him with water. Seems a little crazy if you ask me

If I recall correctly they had an ongoing string of incidents where Big Lee was the instigator. The one that led to his shooting went like this.
The old man had cleaned his vehicle and was in the process of leaving his home when Big Lee made the decision in his juvenile brain to spray the old man's truck. The old man rolled down his window to complain and Big Lee then decided to use this opportunity to spray the guy and the inside of his vehicle with the hose. The old guy got pissed, exited his vehicle and shot Big Lee once, killing him.
Like I said, this was not a one-off incident, but one of a series of incidents between these two. Guess Big Lee found the straw that broke the old man's back, and paid with is life for doing so.

This will get interesting, some big time contractor just built three new houses down the street on the Southbound side of Bonnabel and is asking over 700k for each one... I have a feeling the shite is about to hit the fan...

I’m pretty sure those new houses were originally listed for close to $900k. Been in the market quite a while now.

From what I found on the net, the old man's family posted bond and he was, at first, under house arrest but has been released from that stipulation and is awaiting trial.
With his long term health issues, he may not make it with having cancer at his age of 78.

Looks like they're listed for 825K, 790K and 785K...
I always thought it was odd they built expensive houses on such a busy street...

Never said it was justified, but every man does have a breaking point and some choose to act on it in violent manners, others do so in more civil ways. Obviously the old guy just snapped.
From what I read, he's got COPD, needs constant oxygen to function and also has lung cancer, so maybe he just said screw this idiot.
