Noon would have been more appropriate.
I hear LSU is now offering a PhD in “poor decision making”

Meh, so far it's acting as expected. There's still a big fetch of moisture over toward Texas.

Yeah but I feel like that may get pushed more south before it makes it this far east

Not worried about it sliding south. The more likely scenario is it drying out as it progresses east. A few models showed the line waning about this time and then picking back up as it catches some of that Texas energy. Nothing heavy, anything over an 1" would be a significant overperformance.

That’s not how it works. That will be pushed east toward us later. Once our frozen precip starts it will continue off and on for about 4-5 hours.

I really don’t think that’s going to happen. If anything, it could dry out first.

Snow flakes were just dropping in Uptown New Orleans for a few seconds.

Snow seemed to all but stop for a while up here... but it's picked up a bit again

It will be doing that until later in the afternoon. WAFB showed their futurecast model and had the heaviest stuff toward 4 pm with the brighter returns over east Texas moving this way.

Venice is downright balmy with that 26 degree wind chill.

Dem hair cuts are so cold bruh already, "caint" stop style. They heat up the cultcha.

By the way, we them clean cut sides, less snow accumulation. Safety first.
