you have been lucky or something cause it's terrible. Whenever I head that way (or when I head back) I plan accordingly so I am not sitting in it.

OKC isn't too bad. I-44 and I-40 can bottleneck up at times, and the I-35/I-40 interchange can back up too.

When they were redoing I-40 on the west side of town that was brutal but I rarely had to go that way. Commuter traffic from/to Edmond and Norman can be tricky for about 30-45 minutes in the a.m and p.m. but for the most part you can get anywhere in OKC metro in about 20 minutes.

I laugh when Memphis people complain about traffic.

I've lived in Houston, Baton Rouge, and Atlanta......Memphis doesn't know traffic.

where in the city do you live?

b/c if you have to use the tunnels and bridges to get out of the downtown area its bad and always backed up esp during the winter.

Phoenix isn't that bad. Sure it has it's rush hour traffic times...but the streets are on a grid system so it's pretty easy to take surface streets and avoid the freeway if necessary.

I've never had more than 10-15 minutes added to a rush hour here in St. Louis (barring an accident).

Yep, Phoenix has by far the best traffic of any large city I've been in. Mostly due to how spread out everything is and how well designed the grid system for the street layout is. Being a mostly newer city helps alot there as well.
