Just make sure you honk and wave at Raj when he's outside smoking...

This had traffic so fricked up today. The intersection already sucked, but this is going to make it so much worse. I'm going to do my best to avoid E Boyd, but with the routes that I take to get to places, there really aren't any other logical options

The right turn only is what absolutely sucks. I live on E. Boyd between Burbank and Highland. Now I have to drive backward further than forward to get to Bogies!

And walking across now sounds like a fast track to a dirt nap with idiots not knowing how to handle that intersection.

If they would still let you go straight through at least those coming from UView could then cut down Janet or Dodson when heading to campus. (Which is what everyone should do now anyway and avoid the left turn)

Update: as of this morning, all stop signs, painted arrows, and any other evidence of that atrocity have been removed. Lights working as they were. Victory is ours.

Stop signs back and light flashing again as of 9am.

Anyone have a trash car they'd consider sacrificing for the greater good?

Speaking of terrible designs on Burbank how long before somebody dies walking across Nicholson from on Burbank going to/from a baseball game?

From what I understand, if you just put a blinking yellow light on your head, everyone will treat you like a four way stop and you'll be fine.

This thread is one big whine. College kids will bitch about anything.

Ride a fricking bike. Walk. Exercise never killed anyone.

Walking and biking are probably way more dangerous actually. It's Baton Rouge

Rome, they are actually inept. Which explains PhiTiger's stance on the ordeal. Stoopid foools.

I just got back from work. Burbank was backed up from East Boyd past Co-Op and every person was coming to a complete stop at the yellow flashing light. I took Nicholson. :lol

Oh and a helicopter was flying overhead. I wonder if they are laughing at the chaos.

This.

By the map in the OP it looks to add 1 minute on to someone's commute.

Holy shite, life is going to suck for some people when they are faced with the real world.

You've clearly got an expert grasp on BR traffic.

clearly y'all haven't been around this area recently during high traffic times. Especially with college aged kids driving.

There were 2 wrecks yesterday at this exact location bc of the change.
