That's my point. Every single "common sense regulation" has done nothing but further restrict rights.
There is no compromise. There is only chipping away at the 2nd.

There's something in the middle and we need legislators who can find it.
1) Who says? I'm tired of all this "enlightened centrist" Kasich-style horse manure. There are principles that no negotiation process should compromise. Take a stand.
2) You have a hilarious new nickname, so your posts make me smile.

They tried in Waco in 1993. And we all know how that turned out.
And the most disturbing part? People cheered on the ATF/FBI. And that was almost 30 years ago.

If you don't take a stand at that point, then how in the hell are you going to when you finally feel it's gone too far?

Their side's end game is a complete ban of guns, but none of them are willing to admit it.
Shooting.
Come one, it's just this one common sense compromise.

Next thing you know, you're doing 15-20 for possession of a charging handle.

My question is what can be done to lessen the number of these public mass shootings
Are public mass gassing, stabbings or other tragedies be okay? If not, then why focus on the instrumentality?
Because if crazy/evil people (are forced to) figure out how much easier it is to commit mass casualties with other instruments - stand the frick by. Then we’ll be talking about banning or restricting common household items as well as automobiles.
Also, address honestly whether this is “an increasingly common danger in our society” or just the typical media sensationalism.

They won't and the left knows it.

I personally think general patriotism and faith in our institutions has been shaken a lot since then, but perhaps that’s only true for half of the nation

Show me where Biden said he wants to disarm everyone. Show me the actual quote or any kind of legislation he supports that actually disarms law abiding citizens

The Va Tech shooting was carried out using a Glock with 10 round mags.
The most deadly US school shooting took place in 1927 and used a bolt action rifle and improvised explosives. Before I'm pretty sure any kind of firearm ban ever existed and certainly before the AR-15 ever existed by about 30 years.

Hey Biden,
Please go into Chicago, Baton Rogue and New Orleans and take all the illegal guns from the criminals and felons and show us how its done.
Thanks,
Signed, Your law abiding citizens.

I'm still waiting for you to show me what part of the Constitution the GOP wants to ignore like the DNC wants to ignore the 2nd.

They know it won't make a difference. This is about government seizing more control while looking like they are doing something about it.

A completely bipartisan bill. I think it was a bullshite bill, but what part specifically seeks to ignore a specific part of the Constitution. Article, Section, and Paragraph please.
