If anyone is single and wants to date a newly divorced woman:

Jeff Bezos and his wife MacKenzie have settled their divorce - and the richest man in the world got off lightly.

Jeff will keep 75 percent of their Amazon stocks, leaving MacKenzie with just a quarter.

They alone are worth around $32billion at current value.

That's fricked. She should get half.

This is literally the one time I believe in that in high profile divorces. She helped him build that company...

Aw poor her, just 8 billion instead of 16 billion.

ETA:

Misread, her stake ALONE is 32 billion. My fricking word.

He probably had a strategy to fight, or take a lump sum of 32 billion.she may have just wanted it to end. There is no difference between 32 and 75 billion. It doesn't buy you a better steak.

They were always going to structure the divorce to leave Jeff with the majority of the stock, the idea being that it's best for Amazon and a large portion of the current market value is predicated on Bezos maintaining control.
