I have an urgent requirement to transfer several hours of digital audio (mp3) to cassette tapes for a deposition.

Is there a modern way to achieve this without having to hire a technician?

In the Dallas area.

If you have an old school stereo that can play cassettes, it can record as well.

Just play the audio and record it?

I have nothing to pitch as a solution, but I'm absolutely fascinated to find out why in the frick cassette tapes are required for a depo

It’s a long story but I can disclose no more at this point. Hopefully one day we can all talk about it.

About the only thing I can think of on short notice.

Time to bust this bad boy out:

Buy a Walkman and tapes on Amazon and tape the mp3s like the Hot 8 at 8 on Q93 in 1994.

I mean, we aren't asking for details about the reason for the deposition. We're trying to figure out why you need a modern reproduction on a cassette tape.

The cassette with the original recording on it? Ok. A replication of a recording on media that you can play on demand but isn't on a laptop? Ok, little odd, but possible, and CD players aren't hard to come by.

But a reproduction onto a cassette? That's just flat fricking odd

What I can tell you is it concerns products liability regarding a significant succession that may or may not have been transcribed (to complicate matters, through translator) using the plaintiff’s audio equipment.

Anyone here who has taken the patent bar should know what I mean.

Possibly a 3.5mm/stereo cable connected from your computer to a tape player with recording capability. Your biggest challenge will be obtaining said tape recorder and cassette tapes in short time.
