Going to Lake Bruin this weekend, and need advice on the most efficient way to stream college football games from the boat deck.

Here's what I have at my domain at this point in time:
-52" TV
- In home WIFI (about a football field away from the deck)
- Google Chromecast -AND/OR- AMAZON Fire Stick

Thinking of going to Best Buy and getting a WIFI enxstender but not even sure that will get me WIFI on the deck.

Advice? Much appreciated.

Really just depends if you get strong enough WiFi out at the deck. I’ve set up a projector in my backyard before and had to run the game to a converter box inside through a coax cable going to the backyard. That’s my only advice if you are out of range.

Run a 100 foot Ethernet from the Router to the deck and hook it up to a cheap little wireless router.

I suggest watching the game inside in your cabin.

THIS! This is a great idea. If it will plug straight into your TV, that would work as well.

I assume yall are fricking with me lol

No wires will be connected from the home router to the deck. That kind of eyesore will have my project put on hold.

You need an outdoor wifi extender but I'm not sure if you can just get this from Best buy

Have you tried getting a Wifi signal on the deck? You could try moving the router outside and putting it where it'll face the deck. An extender is likely only going to work if there's an outlet somewhere between the house and the deck. I'm not even real sure how well those things work.

You on the inside? If so Lake Bruin Wireless with the satellite on your pier works well..

We do have outlets on the deck so an extender is an option.

Extenders are hit or miss, but you could try.

You can bury the cable. Probably the best way to get a good signal

You might want to ask the Outdoor or Home/Garden board. There's some crafty sumbitches around those parts.

Not if the Wifi signal doesn't reach the deck. And if it did reach the deck, you woulnd't need the extender. It would need to be somewhere between the house and the deck.
