Some neighborhood cat keeps crapping in my garden and need to know best way to get it to stop w/o killing the plants.

Any suggestions? Something I could spray or put down to scare them off. Read something on the interwebs about cats not liking the smell of peppermint oil.

My old cat always shat by one particular bush in our backyard(of which we had 3 of the same bush). That particular bush was always larger and healthier looking than the others.

Obviously not a good fertilizer for a food garden though, if that's what you're specifying.

Mint leaves sprinkled in the garden will work (I think).

Ground black pepper. Spread heavy all around.

It worked for me.
