Best way to move a pool table?

When i built my house 10years ago i had a full size 8' Olhausen pool table installed in my bonus room. It needs to be moved about 6feet back now to the back side of the room. Would rather not call the company that installed it, but i also do not want to mess the table up.Can i just get several people over and lift and move it, or is that out of the question? If i were moving to another house or something i would call the company quickly. But just 6 feet, i was hoping there is a better way. It weighs roughly 800lbs i would guess.

Get some moving dollys no way even with 8 people lifting could move it without messing the tool or floor..

The 3 piece slate would probably come apart when you move it thus needing to be leveled again.. . How's the cloth on it?

If you get 6-8 guys, you could probably move it that little bit. It will need to be releveled.

Hire a magician that specializes in levitation.

Lift from your knees.

Put each leg on something that will slide
Note that it is very easy to frick up the level slate surface if you frick around too much

If you could lift it up slightly with a bottle jack you could put wooden dowels under each foot and easily roll it to wherever you wanted.
ETa: Don’t know why I got a downvote. The above method is the easiest and can be done with 2 people.

Clicked this thread a few times, now I'm getting ads for pool tables on the side.

Don't really know shite about it, but I would be worried about balancing issues.

Oh, so you're not really concerned about it being level.

What kind of floor do you have in that room?

This a serious question? Ask your husband to push it.

What type of floor? If wood or something smooth, you can lift up one side at a time, and put it on blankets and slide it. Do not lift it by the ends. Two guys can pick up a side
Eta: I can pick up one side of a heavy table, but I wouldn't want people's hands underneath the legs. You also don't want it twisting and the slate separating
