ETa: Don’t know why I got a downvote. The above method is the easiest and can be done with 2 people.
You got downvotes because the dowel/pipe trick works really well for an item with a continuous bottom (no legs) a pool table normally has four legs and the method is about the worst possible solution.

Just move it and pay a billiard co to refelt it and make sure the wax between the slates didn't get messed up during the move.
The last time I moved mine I think it was 300 to get this done.
